I give Texas and Ohio State credit for going out of conference in recent years and setting a great example to schedule some big time games. They can have a year off in my book.
NOW the SEC must follow the example especially since some consider them the current strong conference

Finally some one recognizes TCU as a threat to these Big 12 teams. They have defeated a Big 12 team the past 3 years. Oklahoma, Baylor and Texas Tech. And all of those teams are better than any AA team and its not like they have a choice they have to play Tech and Baylor cause they are in their conference and they play Rice every year.

Sorry, but OSU's not playing three I-AA teams. Only Youngstown State is a I-AA school; the rest of their non-conference schedule, although fairly weak, are I-A schools (Akron, Washington, and Kent State). News flash - the Mid-American Conference is a I-A conference and always has been.
Texas's schedule is down from recent years, but let's face it - with very few exceptions, teams are watering down their non-conference schedules and have been for years. They play Baylor, OU, OSU, A&M, and Texas Tech every year; only their schedule vs. the North changes, and they get KSU. ISU, and Nebraska this year. No OSU this year, but as mentioned, watch out for TCU.

Also, Oklahoma and Texas A & M. Since when did Tech become a weak team? Sounds like Ohio State is trying to put everyone else down to build themselves up. Have you looked at their schedule?

When teams have cupcake schedules they are forced to run up the score to get more BCS points. I don't think this is good. It seems like year after year more and more teams are given weaker schedules just to make the BIG games seem even more important. Picture this, two teams who blowout every opponent by 40-50 points each week looks better on paper when they play each other. If both teams were still undefeated but won their games by a total of 13 points then the match up doesn't look so impressive.

How can you say their schedule is any weaker than anyone else's? They play 3-teams in the top-25. Ohio State plays 3 in the top-25 as well. Do you consider their schedule weak? On the other hand, Louisville just played it's first top-25 ranked opponent last week, and Notre Dame will only play 2.

don't count out TCU, they play UT for the 1st time in a while, and are posed to have a better team than they have the past 2 years...oh yea and they have a good record against the Big 12 in the past 3 years.
they held that #1 offense of TTech's to 3 points last year, beat OU in Norman the year after they went 12-0 and lost to USC inthe orang bowl, They Beat Iowa State in the Houston Bowl, and beat baylor at home too (no big deal)...but watch out Texas TCU is coming for you

Hey pal - Texas Tech can beat just about anybody! They have the best offense in college football. Didn't you see them make one of the greatest comebacks in history to whip that big ten team in the Bowl Game? Of course, I don't expect too much out of Big 10 teams when they play southern teams. Baylor has gotten better the last couple of years too.

You're right. Strength of schedule will kill them. Some polls have LSU at #2 and some at #3. USC can't brag about their strong schedule either. Barring a loss to another SEC team, LSU will be in first place because of strength of schedule.
