i know the animals did a great one..and in my opinion whoever the lead singer is he sounds alot like jim morrison..but anyways there both great bands but i was just wondering

Nope - the Doors did not ever do that song. It is a great song though! 1964 - Eric Burdon does a hell of a job on that song.

Lead singer for the Animals was Eruc Burdon....and yes the man has a helluva voice


Never heard of a doors version though


The doors sis do a version of Gloria which was a hit for the Van MNorrison headed group "Them"

No, the Doors did not (not that I know of).
There is a cool version by 5 Blind Boys of Alabama you should dig up though.
