How do i get Past event 30 on super Smash Bro. on Gamecube?

I have beeaten all 30 events, but it won't let me go higher than 30.

You have to complete certain other requirements. I can't remember what they are though! Try beating the 100-man melee. I'm going to give you the best events FAQ I've found for the game.
