Irvin? How about Nivri? Irvin in reverse!

Or Irvina
Vina
Lirvina
Irvana
Irvia

I like Nivri best! Good luck!

Irvin is an ugly man name so to make it feminine will be an utter nightmare. Tell your friend to think of his daughter & what she would want & like. She is not going to like her name & kids are horrible in school. They'll probably tease her.

Good luck!

I hate backward spelled names but I can't think of any fem version of Irvin so this is the only thing I can think of: Nivri (I'd NEVER use this name).

Irvin is a horrible name!

Why on earth would your friend want to name his baby girl after such a distasteful and downright nasty, common and boring name as Irvin?!?

What a ghastly name!

Eeeeek!

P.S. #1: What is your friend's middle name?

P.S. #2: Yes, Ivory sounds pretty cute... But isn't it a brand name for a soap and dish detergent also?

P.S. #3: No, Ivy will automatically remind people of Poison Ivy, lol!

I can't think of any. You could use Irvin as a second name. Like Naiome Irving. It will really work!

Oh, encourage him not to. What is his middle name - is that any easier to convert to a girl name? He could try Irweena, which is cute.
