I'd say Canada , we have our right wing reactionaries and fundamentalists but every country has some .
Climate is pretty moderate most winters, out west and in the atlantic provinces it's a bit more dicey, cold , snow, winds etc.
Ontario is in a bit a slump economically because it was the manufacturing centre for most of the resources mined or logged here. However Alberta's economy is booming and the Atlantic regions will be soon with its oil and gas agreements.
Canadians are pretty much respected and well liked by most of the world. We're a kind nation and fairly tolerant of diversity.
We have a vibrant arts community not just in large urban centres but all over, theatre, jazz, ballet, rock music, classical , punk you name it .
Also Canada is known for its sense of humour and ability to laugh at ourselves. So many famous Canadian comedians have gone to the US but Canada is still 'home'.
Also we have health care that is paid for by the provinces and federal government, it's a little underfunded at the moment hopefully that will change.
Canada is the second largest land mass in the world, we have country to spare.
And we're the 8th most peaceful nation in the world.

Physically, the best place on earth to live is Southern California. Unfortunately, so many people figured this out and paradise has been ruined. The old saying is, if you find paradise, don't tell anybody.
I think the best place on earth to live would be a place where people aren't on the constant push to consume more than their neighbors. A place where people are content to have what they need and are not impulsed to always want more.

It depends of you, you will do the strong economy with your work or the liberal society with your education, the life depends of you, the place is the less important. Just select by climate cold or hot, rain or dry.

the place where i was born, the place where i've first seen the first rays of the dawn, the place where i first felt love, the place where i first felt serenity and solititude, the place where i first done wrong and the place where i've seen the truth about humanity it falsity and goodness, their struggles to succeed, to change and remain as righteous as they should be. Yes of course i want to be in different parts of the world. do you think if i want to live in a peaceful place i'll leave my country just to look for another place to live in?It will be very difficult and different then, now that i have already grown, theres nothing sweet and beautiful like home no matter how worst and ugly the world i live in it where i felt love and comfort....when i leave this there will only be emptyness....then gone....to my last breathe of bitter longing.

An island without all the c r a p you spoke of with folk who know how to generate their own electricity using the sun the wind and the rain, who are in essence self sufficient and independent of all supposed "modern society".
Also can make their own music without the need to compete.
Long live the Peacemakers.
