I need costume ideas for a 13 year old girl!
i need something unique and fun!

please help

it also needs to be comfy because she is going to be running around alot

Go for something you know well, like a character from your favorite book or a certain 'species' of mythical animal. Like, werewolf.

Or, you could go as an archetype. Go as "the hero" of the story, "the sidekick" that's less intelligent but always ready to please, or as "raven", with her raven hair and eyes that are deep pools of emptiness. Then, have people guess what archetype you are! Too nerdy for ya?

There's always going as an inanimate object or random animal. Like, an iron or a tapir. O_o

There's always throwing a bunch of crap on and wearing tons of makeup and just winging it.

Well, look at the movies - Shrek, Pirates, Spiderman are all really popular this year. Would she like to be a mermaid, as in Aquamarine? Nancy Drew was a great movie & good for costume ideas, as well.
Go with any of the decades - 20s flapper girl, 50s car hop or bobbysoxer, 60s hippy chick, 70s disco darling, 80s pop diva!
She could be a black cat, a unicorn, an angel, a bag of jellybeans (clear trashbag with cut outs for head, arms & legs) fill the bag with blown up colored baloons), a bunch of grapes, a mummy, a witch.
Look on these sites with the young lady & see if she likes any of the costumes in her age range.....

Glamour Girl takes a bubble bath

Get a large box she can fit into.

Strap the box so it rests on her shoulders.

Paint the box white. You will need to put a platform in the box lower than the top edge.

Get some clear and white balloons and blow them up, these are the bubbles. Tie white crochet string on the balloon ends and tape them down on the platform.

Get a shower cap, bathrobe, rubber ducky, and scrub brush.

Tape the duck down in the tub.
Wear the shower cap, bathrobe, and carry the scrub brush.

She can also wear white clown make up to look like cold cream too, or green for a facial mask.

The tub can be removed and she can run around in the bathrobe (worn over regular clothing) and shower cap and "face mask".

here's some ideas: bo-peep a fairy a marionette doll (with the red circle cheeks, curled hair, a flouncy dress, vivid eyelashes and strings attached of course) a facebook/myspace page (use cardboard) someone from a certain time period 50s,60s,70s,80s(very fun!) or from medieval/rennaissance commonly known fictional charachter or a fairytale character-Rapunzel, etc. This one is pretty cheesy but one of you could string small ceral boxes on a piece of rope then stick forks thru the boxes and wear it around your neck (hence THE CEREAL Killer)get it?? Yeah that one might be to "gay" for you (since 13yr olds who do matching costumes are) but its just a suggestion.

This is what I'm doing for my 12 year old son this year, I bought a bright yellow sweat suit. some black iron on letters.
I am going to spray paint a fridge pack soda carton yellow, pink on top,, and wrap wire around the carton under the pink.the hole where the soda cans come out will fit nicely over his/her head. and some string to tie it under his/her chin.
the iron on letter on the back of the sweat suit will read NO.2 pencil. i hope he will win at his scool, they like origanlity. if it will work for a boy, why not a girl.

it depends on what she llikes. try this: a pajama girl. thats all i can think of
