yes i do....and i hate when i ask a question and someone goes through all the answers and gives each one a thumbs down...i will especially give those a thumbs up...

Of course. If someone gives a reasoned reply, even if I do not totally agree with it, I will give them a thumbs up if I feel they are being treated unfairly. Sometimes I will even read through a few of their previous best answers and give a thumbs up on the one's that I like from those as well. It never hurts to encourage thoughtful people who take the time to make this a better place.

I think a lot of us have a thumbs down fairy. I've never quite understood why someone would want to go through all of someone's answers just to put them down.... but it is done. I'll read a brilliant answer and see a thumbs down and wish I could give 10 thumbs up just to counteract the one. I think once people see an answer with several thumbs up... they jump on the bandwagon. Of course I've seen that happen with thumbs down too. One given then someone with little sense laughs and does it too and so on and so on. So yeah... giving thumbs up to those that do NOT deserve the down is important. We have to treat this place like we treat life. Afterall.... isn't it the same?

I've been giving a good shot at it. Yahoo isn't helping me much today. Yes, I go through the whole row on a question and give thumbs up. I t sort of evens it out.

Yes, especially when I see someone has gone down a list of answers and given a Thumbs down to every answer ( excepting trolly or stupid replies).

The unfair ones, in my opion, YES! But then, opinion is relative! I also thumb down the really nasty, vulgar ones!

Yes...but I usually thumb down everyones answer but my own..SOMETIMES...depends on the question.
