firstly we have a full fledged website but the current company that manges it is charging us too much. We decided to get our website designed somewhat like that with all the hi tech features from another company ...I explanied all my requirements to them even reffered to a sample website...the guy whome i was communicating with ...asked for the source code for our current website...as a software team he shd be creative and deal with that ...is that ok for him to ask source code...as he has to do nothing after that , just copy paset it doent look professional. the current company that is hosting our website is having source code as we dnt have access to that .moreover we are just getting an estimate for price i dnt wnat to disclose source code.
should i go with another company as this doesnt seem professional to ask for source code and admin area...
