The Ramones Definately Win First Place, They Were The Fathers Of Punk. No Doubt They Were Influenced Largely By Proto Punk Bands Such As The Stooges And The New York Dolls But They Were The Ones Who Pioneered Raw, Simplistic Instrumentation In A Decade Dominated By Complicated Musicianship. On Top Of That, They Had Practically No Commercial Success And Spent Twenty Years Touring Continuously Just To Make A Buck. Whats More Punk Than That?

Second Place, In My Opinion Goes To The Clash. Is Your Name By Any Chance Jimmy J For "Jimmy Jazz"?

Oh And To The Dude Who Said Fall Out Boy, WTF? No.
