I know Huard is a good QB and all, but COME ON! Not only is Green Pro-bowl caliber TO THIS DAY, but he is a staple of KC football! I think He will be missed. What do you think?

Um... Drew? Not to burst your bubble, but Do you think that Donovsn McNabb is really in the same ctetgory as The others you mentioned? I know he is good and all, and I don't mean any disrespect, but McNabb had an incredible team backing him up, and if Green had the same, would there be much of a difference?

And Sparty... if Trent Green is only 3rd string pro bowl caliber, then why would he big such a big help to Miami anyway? Stay consistent, you look silly...lol

He is unfortunately one nasty hit away from being out of the league, due to concussions. KC didn't handle the situation well at all, but it's obvious Green wasn't going to be part of its plans for this season. And then Green goes into a situation where Culpepper gets disrespected even more!

Pro-Bowl caliber? Yeah, maybe 3rd string pro-bowl. I'm a Lions and Bengals fan and I was ecstatic when Joey Loserton went out of DTW. Miami is falling apart with Nick Saban's departure, 2 really bad NFC quarterbacks(Culpepper, Harrington since the NFC North is the worst division). Yeah it will hurt Kansas City but they are on the way down the slope anyway. The team I really thinks this benifits is San Diego because Kansas City isn't that good anymore. It also is a big benifit to Denver for the same reason as it is to SD.Miami will go 5-11 and KC will go 7-9.
Well it dosen't benifit either team. I thought U understood.

He'll be a solid transitional QB for Miami, since he was picked up partially as a mentor to Jeff Beck. The Dolphins are still recovering from Wannastadt's debacle of a tenure, but on KC's side they're showing they are committed to the run. If Larry Johnson sits out, it is going to be a long season in KC.

i agree... i think Miami made a great move and the chiefs are going to b sorely missing Green...hes been at the helm of that team for a long time and is a very good QB and very underrated
i hope he succeds in Miami as aside from Brett Favre he has always been more of my most respected QB's

Trent Green will NEVER be in the same category as Brady, Palmer, Manning, Brees, Favre, or McNabb. Eventually he will be remembered the same way we remember Vinny Testeverdy, Doug Fluttie, and Berny Kozar.
PS: Whatever you do, don't take advise from Raider Fans (guy above). As if they have any clue about what good football means! GO CHARGERS!

For Miami this will be a big help, because Green is a good accurate quarterback that will stay in the pocket and make good throws, and it's a big loss for Kansas City, because I don't see anyone as good as Green replacing him.

As a Raider fan, #1, I am glad they did not have a better team than they had while he was there. I think he is a damn good QB who I think will do quite well in Miami, I'm glad he's not in our division anymore!!! Also, Drew Blood, I have been a Raider fan, as well as a football fan probably longer than you have been alive (38 years), so shut your piehole!!!!!!

yeah if i was the GM, i would have kept trent green and drafted a franchise quarterback to develop and learn from a good qb. i can understand wanting to get younger but i dont want to lose 10 games this season and rely on larry johnson to get worn out every game.

Yes...Big mistake...Big mistake for the Chiefs to let him go, and put it all on Brodie Croyle's shoulders...The Dolphins will be laughing all the way to the playoffs...
