I want to buy a new laptop, but don't know what to get. I'm leaning towards a Sony again. Thoughts?

duel cores have 2 processors not just one. so if u see a 2.0 ghz duo, its equivalent or even more powerful than a 4ghz solo. and since there are 2 processors, it can to physically 2 things at once, so multitasking comes so much easer.

core 2 duo has 2 pentium m processors, or cores on a single socket. a single core processor is slow, and singoe core processors are no longer made. what sony model are u talking about

there is no diference in processors. get a computer with a lot of memory and hard disk space for they run the fastest.
