appears like a copperhead however the top is throwing me. it would ok be a juvenile jap diamondback yet even at a foot long ought to have a rattle. in case you smelt a heavy musk scent interior the section then it definately exchange right into a copperhead. they're consumer-friendly interior the southeast, i'm confident they could be in NC. you're very fortunate it have been given your boot and not your knee. Copperheads are hassle-free to strike at severe factors on human beings. in case you heard some thing like leaves crunching once you exchange into close to it, then it exchange right into a rattler. it could have been an albino het diamondback or it exchange into on the edge of shed and all the pigment exchange into leaving the lack of ability of existence scales. while doing analyze on attempting to discover the critter continually submit to in ideas that with snakes the types and colours arent continually the comparable. If a snake bites at you, dont assume its poisonous. Rat snakes will chew in protection, all animals chew in protection of themselves. some key giveaways that a snake is poisonous is the form of its head and its eyes. the top will look like an arrowhead and the eyes will look comparable to cats eyes. Sorry i cant be of lots help, if i had a image i'd desire to tell you for confident what it exchange into.

Not knowing where you are.......geographically......It is hard to tell.......could be anything from a bluffing, harmless Hog-Nosed to a deadly Cobra. There are a lot of snakes that fit this description.......Be more specific!!!!!!!

I cannot believe that you are in India and do not know what this snake is, as it sounds like a Cobra......So where are you? It will be helpful?

Just saw "cold_fearrr"'s entry..........sorry, not copying you, but you are right!!!!!!!
