Don't start with the color thing because I don't see color amongst humans, I'm not a racist American and I won't tolerate those slangs, thanks.

usmcmomndads1st: Apparently you didn't read my question correctly, I said NOTHING racist, what is your problem? I am not a racist person and as my question, that was also clarified.

The fact is, this man wants to remain popular but otherwise unknown, what's the secret? Must be pretty bad to feel it must be well hidden. He's simply to smooth and too shady, to be in charge of our country. I'd like to see this country improved, not demolished.

For me... It's not that I don't trust him...

I am a Black, American female, but I will not be voting for Barack Obama. I've done my homework & have come to the conclusion that he likes to ride the fence in order to win votes. He is too vague in the debates. One thing that he stated (that sticks out in my mind) is that the American people would not mind granting citizenship to the 12 million illegals as long as the government builds the fence as promised. That is totally untrue.... & the Americans showed that last week by tying up the lines, so that the government did not pass that ridiculous amnesty bill. Although I think he is young & ambitious, I really don't think he is ready for presidency (my mom thinks otherwise). Even though I am Black & most of America expects for him to get the Black vote, I will be voting for Ron Paul. I don't believe in voting for someone due to race or religion or because they belong to a particular party. I believe Ron Paul to be the best candidate to save America from the past 8 years of mistakes.

Look at how vague Barack Obama is in what he says in regards to illegal immigration...

Now look at how clear Ron Paul is when he speaks of illegal immigration & how he plans to stop it...

No I dont trust Obama. Why? Because he's a politician. Let me let you in a little secret: THEY'RE ALL FULL OF SH_T. It doesn't matter who they are or what they, fundamentally they're all on the same side, and that side is not yours. You see the problem is the fact that those on the top of the foodchain like it up there, and they don't appreciate when you knock them down a notch or two. They're either obsessed with money, power, fame or all of the above. The truth is that there is not one politician in this country at the federal level who gives a flying f_ck about those who put them in office. This is true of all politicians regardless of how noble they may have seemed at the state or local levels. Once they get to the federal level, they're on easy street. Why the hell do think there hasn't been one politician who actually made an honest to God effort to start trying to bring jobs back to the U.S.? Its because rather than do some actual work, they act in the interest of corporations in order to maintain a steady flow campaign contributions. There are no democrats nor republicans nor conservatives nor liberals. Its simply us VS them. I defy anyone to name one single federal politician that has done something to make your quality of life better in the past 15 years. You cannot do it. The only people that can are the ones who continue to receive unnecessary welfare pandering, and even that is coming to an end. Eventually this entire system is going to collapse on top of itself and it should prove rather entertaining. You'll just have to wait and see.

I think I know what creeps you out about him. He's TOO smooth. He's great in front of the camera and the microphone, but what I'd like in a president is a record of how the candidate has done in other executive type positions. Obama has never held an executive position. To me, I don't distrust him so much as I just don't KNOW him.

I can honestly say I don't trust Obama because he is a first generation American his parents are not from this country... Where I am not sure they are from. How ever if we let a first generation take over presidency are we not giving away our America..sure you people think America is free but in all actualities its not... I personally have worked to hard to give myself and my family what we have to risk losing it all...Nobody is going to fight for my rights but me myself and I. and that's a check you can take to the bank and cash.

Barack Hussein Obama

I can't believe that a man with the middle name Hussein is even close to being a serious contender. Ted Kennedy even slipped up and accidentally (?) called him Osama!!!

I'm from Illinois and the only reason he made it to the senate is because the Republicans nominated Alan Keys of all people. Keys isn't even from Illinois!

I feel the same way ... like I'm looking at some slick salesman and that's what he is basically. He has ZERO experience in the political arena, so he has to depend on his smile and how much rhetoric he can shovel. Scratch the surface and there's nothing there.

The problem with America, you vote for the person based on a "feeling" . You end up with the man with the slickest commercials.

Having met him and spoken with him I must say I think you are wrong about him. I really do trust him. But what you are describing is exactly the way I have always felt about George Bush from the first time I saw him and we all know how conniving HE turned out to be!
If you look back over Obama's career, I think you will find he has done much good for alot of people and he has good ideas.

I think that Sentor Barack Obama is the prefect man for the job. I think he can really change some things that our present and past presidents have not thought of yet. I also don't see color, I see a opportunity for all races of all kind to look for the future and when he is president and have done is years in office he will continue to pass on the torch to the next president of the US!
