he IS for real and even though many people will say he isn't, this guy is a natural power hitter and is definatley worth it. This guy was hitting a baseball ever since he was a little kid. He's a natural.

if you could possibly trade Cust for a closer, do it.
He is not a 23 year old up and comer, he is 30ish and is having a great year, but ultimately, it's a trade high deal.

Also, (in my opinion), you have too many bench players that you should never be using. Gordon may have a lot of potential, but is still a rookie. Pierre may be good trade bait.

Essentially, if you have DeRosa as a infield guy and one extra outfield guy, you are good. Crawford, slump or not, needs to start on most nights because you never know when he breaks out.

If Casilla from Oakland is available, you could pick him up, looks like they are going to him for saves instead of Embree

There has never been a question about his ability to hit the ball out of the ballpark. He is an Adam Dunn type player that strikes out way too much. His numbers this year are good at 280-15-41 with only 168 at bats, but the huge downside is his 67 strikeouts to go with those good numbers. Looking at your team I would have to agree that you need another closer and if you can get a good one for Cust I would do it. I think he would be at his highest value now and I would trade him.
