Well, let's see. They lowered veteran's benefits. They decreased spending on medical care for the battle wounded and dismembered. $15 million per DAY worth of oil is missing in Iraq according to the GAO. Halliburton is making billions and billions on no bid contracts. Bush and Cheney's "blind trusts" have probably gone up a million percent since they have been in office. Rank and file soldiers have been denied pay raises. Their families can't afford to buy gas for their cars. I can't go on, but there is a lot more they have done. Give credit where credit is due.

Solo, you are the one who needs to learn the facts. Even Bush admitted it was a "mistake". And no one but idiots claim Iraq has anything to do with 9/11. Even Bush doesn't make that claim.

Considering how few have die compare to any other war we have ever been in you line about sending them to die is wrong.
What lie that saddam was an evil man and gassed his people.
Also how took the food for oil to fund sucide bombers.
saddam wonderful program of spending money on himself rather than his own people. So our troops are now rebuilding the nation.

Conservatives send packages to help make their lives as comfortable as possible.
Real celebs go there and show their support.

Cons didn't do a thing. Not even the most warlike conservative would arrange for soldiers to be needlessly put in the line of fire years after a war had been won, especially when other elements could satisfy its task. Isn't the middle east the father of all proxy wars? Only corrupt idiots would carry the undertaking.

Why we are there and how we got there is no longer the point.
The point now is to fix this mess. We cannot just pull out of the country until they are ready to stand on their own two feet and protect themselves from outside forces.
