Is it just me or has music lost its "depth"? There are so many artists now who sing about shallow things like their "humps", cars, jewlery and just very shallow interpretations of love. I find it very hard to find music I can relate to.
I have recently discovered some new artists and have a few favourites. Depth is what makes songs amazing.
Here is my current favourite "deep" artists.
JoJo
James Morrison
James Blunt
Marion Raven (Newly Discovered) She's amazing!
Damien Rice
The Fray
Alanis Morrisette
Natasha Bedingfield
Kelly Clarkson
Damien Leith
Pink
Can anyone think of anymore?

Ok if you actualy listen to some of JoJo's songs like Too Little Too Late and How To Touch A Girl you'll see she is actually very deep. Kelly Clarksons songs, Because Of You and Never Agian are anything but shallow and Pinks songs Deer Mr President and Long Way To Happy are about war and sexual abuse, of course they're deep!
