1. Michigan- They have a defense that can stop just about anyone and a great offense, so that when they get the ball they can score.

2.USC- These guys could be #1, but i am not sure they can beat Michigan. They have a great offense with once again like Palmer, and Leinart another great QB and a Defense that no one wants to face.

3. LSU-These guys lost quite a few guys, but I think they will pull it off because this team has arguably the deepest depth chart in the NCAA

4.Texas-Like always Texas Has a gunner(Colt McCoy) and an outstanding defense i think they will have a good year and probably win the Big-12

5. Virginia Tech-Best Defense in the league and not much lacking on offense, like they say Defense wins championships

1.USC (this is obvious, since they recruited the top 2 Freshmen RBs, blew out Michigan in the Rose Bowl, and may have the 2 best QBs in the NCAA, not to mention the best defense they've had since they hired Pete Carrol)
2.Texas (Texas has to be #2, since they have Colt McCoy and could very well have gone unbeaten last year)
3.West Virginia (could very well have won the National Championship last year if they could have beat Louisville)
4.Michigan (while they have a habit of losing the big games, they're up there in talent)
5.Penn State (this year's sleeper team and don't count out that they are playing to give Joe Pa one last championship before he retires)

I will take
#5 Wisconsin being boring will hurt them in polls just like last year starting #36 for some reason.
#4 Oklahoma
#3 USC inconsistency will hurt them
#2 Texas
#1 Michigan
