What is a Devil's Head note. I have many Canada paper money, how can I tell if I have a devil's head note?

Have a look at the image below showing the difference between the devil's head variety(left) and the modified issue :

Early printings of the 1954 Bank of Canada issue show a devil head-like image on the Queen's portrait around the hair behind her ear. The devil-like image was eventually modified by removing the highlights of the hair patch.

Go with silverpet on this one. This note is not an error note nor was it the result of a prank, but was simply the faithful copying of the original photograph used as the model. the note did created quite a stir in Canada so it was modified. The bill does command a slight premium, but not because it is rare, but different.

I can't remember which denomination of bill, but in the queens hair you can find a devils head. takes a bit of staring
