Why are asians and blacks always perceived as immigrants, no matter how old they'be been citizens?
It's just a personal obesrvation. I don't know if I'm making myself clear. My point is, when you look at a white American man, you don't question his ancestry . But when you look at a an asian, you feel he's a recent immigrant, and not an authentic citizen.
I saw many brochures advertising for the United States, and most of them showed white cowboy men and blonde girls
Why are only european immigrants perceived as the authentic citizens, while non-whites are viewed as foreigners. For instance, when you think Australias, you think white anglo-saxon men, although Australia is, too, a country of immigrants.
Why is "white" the national race?

We won the Independence of the country. Now that I think of it black people fought for it too. I'd say it's because most white people think they are better than other races.

Yeah but you could say the same things about blacks. Other than asians hispanics arabs etc whites/blacks/native american indians have been here longer than any of those races.
RIGHT NOW white is the majority race but that will change in maybe 20-30 years seeing as how the government doesn't do anything to stop illegal hispanics who are the FASTEST growing minority group.

We have a national race?
There are all kinds of initiatives to promote diversity in this country. This is a wonderful movement to show the truth, that Americans are from a multitude of races and cultures. This is a very strong and proactive moment and in the last 10 years it has made great strides. I would say that the "diversity movement" has made more progress in the last 10 years, then has been made in the rest of human history. Why do you choose now to be concerned, when in fact, the notion that the U.S. is a white country is being actively and aggressively dispelled?
Also, please know that racism was not invented by white people. Racism is a scourge that affects all people. Very soon white people will not be the majority in this country and we will soon have to readjust our concept of racism and we honestly have to look at the fact that it's not us against them. It's all of US.

Where did you get white as the national race??? Seems that you're making up stuff... never heard of blacks being immigrants except from Haiti.
Asians and Hispanics are all coming over to America recently compared to Irish, Italian, English and so on that was rooted here(based on our current culture---> obviously Native Americans were originally here, but we don't currently practice their culture).
Look up the word immigrant to answer your question. You have to know what the meaning of immigrant is, to understand what you're asking.
And quite putting your propaganda on here, to voice your hate against white people.

Majority of the populace is white, so it is reflected as such in documentation pertaining to America. This is not racism, but fact. Take a drive through South and North Dakota, Nevada, and several states that are populated, but not, densely populated and you will be hard pressed to find anything BUT white people.

Because, someone in the past told people that if 'they' have blond hair, blue eyes, and light skin; they are Superior to everyone else.
"White" is not, can not, and will never be a race or national-identity.
Everyone with light-colored skin can, if they actually took the time to look; can trace their roots to a great number of cultures - that have dark-colored skin. For example: my family, I am working on my genealogy and have discovered the following ...
Our roots are in Cherokee Tribe, Scotland, and Mexico.

Actually the only ones that blend in are British, Canadian, and Australian citizens its easy to differentiate the other ethnic white immigrants. But blacks arent normally thought of immigrants, we've been in the U.S. longer than most white people.

because the media portrays America as white, so kids naturally tend to believe that whites are the 'national race'...although I don't know too many adults who see every asian, and especially not blacks, as immigrants. the only adults that do view other races as immigrants can usually be found down in the bayou huntin gator.

You know what? When these kinds of questions are asked about whites I could care less. They are truly dispicable animals. Have you read this forum or took a look "out" into America lately?
Just barbarack and insane...no class, just hate. Ewww, I just really don't like how they are, you know?
Thanx
