One and a half years ago, it probably is 2.0. Easiest way to tell is to plug in a usb 2.0 device like a thumb drive. If it just works, then you have 2.0. If it says "this device can perform faster" then you have 1.1
Check using back usb ports first, not front. Occasionally the front are not as reliable as the back, and on some computers the front may be 1.1 while the back are 2.0

Plug in a USB 2.0 device, like an iPod. A notice will come up if it's not USB 2.0. If nothing comes up after 10 minutes, it should be alright.

The best place to look for this answer is the Dell support page. You can download the user's manual and it gives you all the info. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins6000/en/om/D5181bk5.pdf
All 4 ports on the i6000 are USB 2.0.

http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/my_systems_info/en/details?c=us&l=en&s=gen&~tab=2&~ck=ln&lnki=0
Enter in your service tag and you will see your system specifications. Be sure to look at all tabs. Something in there will identify it. Also you can chat online with Dell support representatives.
Hope this helps.
