More than I could ever express.

I was a teen mother with 2 babies. I had lots of adults look down on me for everything I did. Even my own step dad which sucked as a parent to me and his own children looked down on me for my choices. I am not and was not a perfect parent but I did my best! I still do my best and I don't look down on teens for having babies. My mother had me when she was 15 and I know she did her best. People are just too quick to judge anymore. They are don't understand and just like to attack the teen mothers. Some teens are very responsible and are more mature than adults. Just because you are 30 and have a child compared to a 16 year old having a child doesn't make you better. The 30 year old could be a mental, emotional and physical abuser while the 16 year old isn't. Everyone is different, age doesn't tell if you are a bad parent or not. People never stop to think before they bark! Good Luck and God Bless

I feel badly for some of the things I did or said to my parents when I was younger. I also realize that it's part of growing up. Now that I am a parent myself I can see both sides of the story! With a daughter starting her teen years I do not look forward to the "moods" but I anticipate them and am bracing for the storm they call "hormones"!

No becasue my dad was an emotional and physical abuser who never treated me with love or respect unless I cut my hair and played soccer like my brothers - but I still had to wash the dishes because that was "woman's work". My mom still had six kids after me and was never around except to ride my butt about getting housework done, finishing the laundry, or taking care of one of the babies for her. I don't even think either of them noticed if I was ever 'moody', and if I was, they never had a nice word to say to me anyway, so what was the difference and why should they have cared?

No because I realize all teens go through that and now that my dad is an old man I take care of him everyday. You will grow out of it and realize everything your parents did for you once you have children of your own. My teenage daughter is the prototype for the original drama queen.

I most definitely do cause I didn't realize how much stress a parent endures, but now that I have teens of my own I can't believe how totally selfish I was, and to think I was the most behaved out of all six children my parents had, I don't know how they didn't beat us into submission. hahaha : )

No. My parents were not the most supportive people during that time in my life.

I had my reasons to be moody. My mother understands.

No, because they were too wrapped up in their own stuff to give a darn about my feelings and try to understand me.

Sometimes, but it's a phase everyone goes through at some point.
