You are asking a question that takes volumes of books to take care of, as well as a lot of price guides. No one can really answer this question. A rule of thumb in coin collecting is to buy the book before the coin. That sometimes works if one knows exactly what he wants to collect. Go see some coin dealers and look around, see what coins fit your budget. World coins are not too expensive and there are some real nice ones out there. A type set of U.S. coins say of the 20th century is obtainable without breaking the bank. See a coin dealer and pick up a copy of Coin World as well as Numismatic News, they have a wealth of information as well as advertisements, so you will get an idea of pricing of different coins. Good luck and if I can be of further assistance let me know.

Quaters are 25 cents and dimes are 10 cent and nickles are 5 cents and pennies are 1 cent. I hope this is what you mean if not sorry
