Does anyone know how to catch Night Crawlers. I tried almost every method and I can't find any. I have tried to go out in rain, drizzle, and even just watering my lawn before dark. I live in PA.

I've always just gone out at night with a flashlight. Maybe they're not in the soil by where you're digging.

UPDATE: I just remembered reading somewhere that worms like ice cream. Then again -- it's not quite a good idea to sprinkle your lawn with ice cream. :(

I was a 'water-right-before-dusk' worm gatherer. Maybe you should try another side of your property or nice loose earth like the garden. You could use a hoe and make some loose earth yourself, too.

Do you have a garden? They LOVE it when you throw out coffee grinds, worms like coffee grinds and earthy areas like a garden. DIRT....find some good dirt, but not too dry, they dont like dry dirt.

put out cedar shaving on a patch of ground, leave it out for a couple of months in the summer, then go digging. You will find all you will ever need.
