So I'm 37 wks today and and just had a doctors appt. and they said that I'm 3 cm dilated, 75% effaced and that my water bag is bulging. Last Friday I was dilated to a 2 and I've been having constant contractions all day today. They haven't been five min. apart or anything like that, but they've been all day. My doctor said I'll probably be going into labor very soon. This is my second pregnancy and when I did go into labor with my first it was fairly fast. But I was wondering what all of you guys thought? When do you think that I will go into labor?

wow, congrats in advance on your new baby...some women have contractons for days, having said that, because you're already 75% efaced, the chances of your water breaking are much higher when you are having them on a consistant basis...btw, you are probably already in labor, but doctors dont like patients to come in until the contractions are 4-5mins apart(aka active labor) to keep patients from comming in and having to be sent home when things aren't progressing...so my guess for you would have to be sometime within a day a so...so make sure you drink plenty of fluids and try to relax..also make sure you have your bags packed(in case you have to go in during the middle of the night)...good luck, have a safe delivery, and congratulations once again on the new baby.

That is very exciting news! But in the long run it doesn't REALLY mean that you are going into labor today, then again with that sneaky bag of water bulging around...
Like others have said, you may go into labor in the next couple of days, or you may still be stuck waiting weeks and weeks. I hope it comes soon for you, I know how tough it is to feel like it should be there and it's not!

Honestly u can dialate and stop at any minute and not go for 2 more wks or 3...
its crazy but some women go into labor and it just stops LOL.
so you have a good chance its soon if u said ur water bag is about to burst (walking could help u along) but soon can be any time (in the next 3wks.) Congrads and have a safe delivery when it happens.

It's hard to say. I bet within the next 3 or 4 days. Especially with your water bag bulging. Actually with that and the contractions going on all day, maybe it will be tonight or tomorrow. How exciting! Congrats and good luck with the labor!

Honey if you think is time and you already dialating then these are some good tips to induce your labor at home: Hot baths, squats, have lots of sex, better if he climax inside, also I heard of castol Oil. Good luck!!!!
