I'm looking for a book that has a lot of descriptive passages in it... something with like dragons and weird creatures like that... and fighting... lol...

I can give you a name of a SCI-Fi author I like . Check out Timothy Zahn. Read a few of the Star Wars books he wrote and wow for descriptive details. Its like you can see what is acutally happening with out pictures.

Can really get in to the books and not want to stop. Its almost like you are watching on the side what is happening he gets in to good details on everything.

If you like descriptive then read a Clive Barker novel, called the books of blood.
