I am kinda chubby, and I like being shirtless. But, I feel embarrassed about being shirtless in front of others, besides when I swim. Do you guys have advice for me?

I think that light color shorts or pants would be best that is relaxed fitting. Dark colors or skinny fitting shorts or pants would bring more attention to the stomach. Also you can start to eat healthier foods such as fruits and vegetables and lean meats such as fish or chicken and stay away from fast food.

Cardio workouts will help out a lot and next summer you will be a better looking and a healthier teen boy.

You should be able to lose fat fairly quickly since you are still young and growing and even if you body weight stay the same. next summer you will be at least two inches tall but slimmer.

If you try it out and it works, you won't feel as embarrassed and actually be healthier for your next summer beach plans.

Kind of chubby, no problem. I like being shirtless too. You can start at home to build up your confident level. After that, you can get mail and take trash out shirtless too. Furthermore, you can go running and/or biking shirtless in the neighborhood as well. Exercise is a great way to go shirtless and build up your comfort level. Good Luck!

well young man, I would recommend that U get a bicycle and use it every day; The more miles U go, the slimmer U will get, and if U ride shirtless it will be a bonus 4 U. Dun worry about other peoples opinion of your kinda chubby self.
If U are good with U, then roll with it baby~!

Several good answers--all obvious. (NOT the one who growls "there are rules," tho.) I won't repeat them.

But you, and any other guy who has this issue--and any guy self-confident enough NOT to have any issues about going shirtless!--should consider joining http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Shirtless_Lifestyle/

Yes, all ages welcome.

P.S. At your age, being str8 probably doesn't make taking off your shirt any easier or harder than being gay would.
