The Associated Press reports from Keokuk, Iowa, that Mrs. Clinton "drew a distinction" between the Libby commutation--"which she has harshly criticized--and her husband's 140 pardons in his closing hours in office":
Her husband's pardons, issued in the closing hours of his presidency, were simply routine exercise in the use of the pardon power, and none were aimed at protecting the Clinton presidency or legacy, she said.
I would have thought her to at least remain quiet on the issue but apparently she likes the taste of her own foot.

Yes, Hillary has a memory, and is shamelessly vindictive.
Funny how you mention the Cisneros case as though it is comparable to Libby. Yes, they both were convicted of telling lies, but the difference is Clinton, who said while campaigning for President that character doesn't matter, gave his man Cisneros a full pardon for his lapses of character, while Bush only gave Libby a reduction in sentence. Bush is saying that when someone says something not quite true under oath there should be some consequences. Clinton, by pardoning Cisneros, said dishonesty is to be rewarded.

This was a case of the man, Libby not having done any time, and it has not ever been done in this manner, especially after Bush had said that he would abide by the jurys decision. This is a sitting president, Bill was to have left office, this one is still going to be in for the next two years, by commuting Libbys sentence before he served any time, and leaving in place the rest of the judgment, they may need to write a new law that covers Libbys supposed parole, as he can't be have a supervised parole if he never served time, which is why the President yesterday would not rule out a full pardon in time.
You might also want to check out Bushes list of pardons while you are at it, it might surprise you to see the some of the gems he has quietly pardoned.
Since someone who supported your views gave the usdoj site for Clinton I thought you might appreciate the same for Bush. But for some reason its not up for the present Bush, but if you check the Wikipedia site, scrolll down and they have links to the doj site.

Hard to beat Xenypoo ? Right on the money , my thanks to Xenypoo for saving me the time for me not having to write all those facts down , and dang good ones` they are !!!!! They are documented by the way . The facts stated here are the very ones` the Elite Bias`Liberal Media doesn`t want anyone to know ! That`s why people support the Clinton's` , none of the Liberal Bias` Media will call them on their obvious lies` and the amount of brain farts the Clinton's have !! With the dreaded disease Brainfartitous so openly noticeable especially with Hillary , it is no wonder she can`t remember anything after stating under oath over 50 times in the same trial " I just don`t have any memory of that" ; and "I`m sorry , I don`t recall" numerous times in another trial ! With that much Brainfartitous , well , there`s just know room for shame. Shame has been neutralized in her thought process !! By the way ? Has anyone found out the definition of "IS" is yet ?

Is this some kind of defense of the Bush Junta? Let's be real.....Scooter will either get a full pardon or he rats out the rats. Cheney for sure didn't want his secret meetings with the Oil Mafia just before the invasion of Iraq being chapter two in Scooter's 'tell all' book. And Bush didn't want to be chapter one where Libby discusses how George played the stooge for the GOP fascisti for eight years. 'Ya don't like Sen. Clinton? Well 3/4th of the USA's population doesn't like the screwball antics of the reactionaries that Bush and Cheney front for....and even the other 1/4 has to hold it's collective nose!

LOL, pardoning a traitor, MARC RICH is routine, eh???? For her and her husband only, I guess!
Marc Rich S. D. N. Y. 1984 superseding indictment Wire fraud, mail fraud, racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, criminal forfeiture, income tax evasion, and trading with Iran in violation of trade embargo, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1343, 1341, 1962(c), 1962(d), 1963, and 2; 26 U.S.C. § 7201, 50 U.S.C. § 1705, and 31 C.F.R. §§ 535.206(a)(4), 535.208 and 535.701
Below is a complete list of the criminals Clinton pardoned before leaving office. Not much to respect there, I say. Even the pardon of his own brother, Roger Clinton, who was selling cocaine to his so-called fellow Americans. Not very much to be proud of, is it?
PS Don't get me started on the death's in Clinton's wake. I've got a list I am free, and willing to post.
Sorry the following below is so long, but I am not to blame. The Clinton's are.

No shame. Hilary was booed on stage shortly after 9/11 in New York, don't know what she said. Recently, she was booed again, by Democrats, when she was talking about the war in Iraq. Flip flop flip flop Flip flop flip flop. Among those Clinton pardoned during his closing hours was the biggest tax cheat in the history of the USA. Libby was a mouse compared to the lion tax cheat.

She must pay a fortune for that pedicurist, wouldn't you think? If she has a BRAIN in her head, she'll stay quiet about things such as this, because she has no room to speak of.
Thank goodness she's not a danged ship and I'm on it. Seasickness from the constant flip-flopping might keep me from the polls. Maybe that's her ploy?

There are huge differences between Clinton (Bill) and Libby. First of all Clinton went up against congress and senate on impeachment hearings. They didn't prosecute. He was disbarred however. Libby went up against a grand jury of the American people and he perjured himself more than twice. He was found guilty and sentenced by a judge. She is right to bring it up and she is right about Bush and Cheney be cronies. I'm not voting for her but she's right about this.
Speaking of pardons, did you ever look up George Bush Sr.s pardons? They make Clintons pardons look like pardons of kindergartners stealing eachothers popcicles. Bush Sr. pardoned most of the perpetrators of Iran Contra crimes because they would have implecated his administration and him if he hadn't. Look it up.
