Once a person has put their trash out then it is considered public property. So if you dig through their trash for whatever it is not illegal. Don't know about the recycling bins.

Give up, it's not going to work. Even if you live in Oregon or another bottle bill state most stores have a 25 can limit per day. And yes, it is illegal to take the aluminum from peoples trash or recycling bins.

sure you can iis it legal deffently knot many people think if one put items into trash one is disowning that item which is not true if i put something into to the the trash i still own it it is consider my trash it is actually a fellony to take anything out of a private trash container juust for kicks if you put something in someone eles trash can it is illegal to take that out . once put in it is know there trash
