I would as an alternative be called preggo then have anyone remark on my figure, like I"m carrying small or big-since they're noticing that i'm pregnant-now not commenting on how I look. We americans every now and then have no idea we are attacking anyone on a private level socially, preggo is a high-quality example of that.

Preggo, preggie, preggers are abbreviated versions or slang, for the word pregnant. They mean the exact same thing. That is all. nothing more, nothing less.
They just mean that a woman is pregnant. There isn't anything derrogatory.
For alot of people the shorter versions of pregnant are faster to say when referring to a womans delicate condition.
I was preggers, preggo and or preggie three times! I am now a grandmother of 6....lol
Some people feel more comfortable saying those shorter versions of the word, than they are comfortable saying the word pregnant.
It is much like the discomfort some people have when saying the proper medical word that represents a certain part of the male and female anatomy.
Hope your pregnancy and delivery is a breeze!

i might quite be stated as preggo then have somebody remark on my discern, like I"m carrying small or super-through fact they're noticing that i'm pregnant-not commenting on how i glance. We individuals at situations don't recognize we are attacking somebody on a private point socially, preggo is a large occasion of that.

It is supposed to be a cute little nickname for a pregnant woman. I'm really glad to find that it irritates other people too when they get called things like preggo, preggars, preggy, etc. I just can't stand it. It isn't offensive, but something about those words makes my skin crawl. I think it's partly because I hate being set apart because of my "condition." I'm pregnant, people. It's a fact of life, not some little show for you all, so knock it off with the stupid names.

It's not to offend you, my best friend calls me that all the time, it's just a nick name, if you do not like it just simply tell them you would rather not be called that.....
