Because they would rather watch from the sidelines, but to afraid to come do what they support.

the majority of military members are conservative. For that matter why aren't you and the people that share your opinion lining up to join Al Quada?
I for one support the President and have already served 20 years in uniform. I voted for Bush and would do so again given the same people running in 2000 and 2004. He is, compared to the 2 Democrats that were running the best man for the job. And since I have already paid for the right of speaking out and supporting the people I believe in, I will do so.

By your thought process...should anyone who voted twice for Clinton be sent to die in the Twin Towers?
Bush and his 'team' have screwed some things up...I will grant you that. But we were NOT better off to allow countries in the Middle East to continue to "declare Jihad" upon free societies.
Sadaam Hussien was a simple and easy target for the West to let the Middle East know that we were no longer going to play by the same old rules...that we were not going to wait to be killed but would take the fight to them.
The Jihadist's are mostly concentrated now in Iraq instead of New York and Los Angeles...and while I HATE to see our soldiers getting killed...they are at least armed, trained and supplied better than the receptionist at a stock brokers office in Manhattan.
So while I respect your right to free speach and very much understand your upset with the way the war is being portrayed on the nightly news...please look past the talking heads and sound bites to some of the bigger issues.
Look at the number of dead in Manhattan by noon on September 11 and what are the number of dead soldiers in Iraq to date.
If we had allowed the Jihadist's to go unchecked...we would have had quite a number more of these attacks in the US, Canada, France, Italy, England etc. etc. and that number would almost assuredly have been much higher than the butchers bill on our brave soldiers...but again...the soldiers are trained, armed and have a better chance to defend themselves and our civilians taking the fight to them instead of waiting to bag the untrained, unarmed civilian's bodies in our countries.
Best Regards.

I just got out of the Army. Although the Military is about 80% Republican. there was still 29 Demorcrats that voted for the war. including, Clinton (D-NY), Yea, Kerry (D-MA), Yea, Feinstein (D-CA), Yea, Edwards (D-NC), Yea and Many more. If all the republicans join the military what would happen if a Democrat wins in 2008. Would they be allowed to leave and would all the leftists join? Don't think so.

What makes you assume they are not? Do you have a line on the voting preferences of those that are serving voluntarily?
Or do you think that volunteering for the military means you should never have to fight for your country. For serving, you should just get a college degree and a VA loan. What does fighting have to do with the military anyway? It's just another social program to you, right?
Don't worry.. Those volunteers are more than willing to keep you from having to serve involuntarily.
By the way - did you know that there is a limit on how many people can be serving in the military at any given time? Did you know we have enough volunteers to meet our needs?
What a jackhole. I can't believe I let you sucker me into answering this stupid question.

It will have to be a Republican to defend the Country because no Democrats will.I heard they were adding a yellow stripe for the Democratic Symbol. It is no wonder why the Democrats hated seeing Bush rid their friend Sada am Hussein go.Hussein was and Democrats are cowards.
NOW, I do sincerely apologize to any Democrats serving in
Iraq and all over the World.I really do.Thanks to all service men and women, past and present that has defended America's honor. How about everyone that supports America and it's leaders are the only ones that get to live in America? And you wonder why we have no Democrat President because y'all are not patriotic.

No. they are in a position to superb be secure outdoors the conflict zone. you will properly be advantageous, their lives are on the line anyplace they're. George Bush has dared to pass after people who satisfaction themselves on cruelty. President Bush and his family individuals would be at risk the remainder of their lives. i think of the conflict is a mistake yet i won't be in a position to brush aside the large braveness of our President and his family individuals.

Because they're p*ssies. All talk. They're the same people who shoot their mouth off until physically confronted and at that time they run and hide.
They also have very few friends and it's a way to feel above all of the others by being tough when it comes to sending OTHER peoples children to die.
I think the next war we start should have a new policy. Before the war begins, the evidence is reviewed by a third party and presented to the troops. The troop will then have the option to go fight based on the evidence presented. So for example; I believe most of the troops wouldn't have agreed to put their lives on the line considering what we actually knew prior to the invasion.
Bush and Co. should be charged with 3500+ counts of murder. I've got dead friends because of that criminal.

Wait just one minute, according to them almost all of the people in the military are conservative. We still need some of them to stay here so Fox News still has an audience.
