There was a brand new dishwasher at my new apartment. But since I live alone, and only have 4 sets of everything, I just hand wash. I use my brand new dishwasher for storage!...lol, paper and plastic bags, trash bags, cleaners, old sponges, I even have a bathroom scale in there!

Both. Sometimes I wash by hand when there are just a few dishes rather than "saving" them in the dishwasher till it's full. I always use the dishwasher after family gatherings.

A dishwasher.. unless it is full.. then I will wash them by hand because I don't want to empty out the dishwasher and put the dishes away

Praise the Lord, I have a dishwasher. But there are things that can't be washed in the DW (like the electric grill and these bamboo cooking spoons that I am crazy about), so I wash those by hand. I'm a half breed.

Dishwasher... but (I'm a 'nanny' for a job) I wash the dishes at the house I watch a 7 year old boy at and his job is to dry them. (It works well.) I also sometimes wash dishes at the day-care I am an assistant at too.

My machine JUST finished, and I would NEVER live without one. It's not that I'm lazy, but a dishwasher gets so hot that it sterilizes the dishes, and I just can't tolerate the thought of washing what I eat off of, in murky, unsanitary water. Not even if ya change it a lot! Yuck!

Im washing them by hand. I can't see any point in a dishwasher if I have to rinse them anyway. I might as well just wash them and be done with it.
