The Prius can travel well in excess of 75 MPH, but it's dangerous since the tires are only rated to 65. Personally I think it's friggin hilarious that Al Gore's son "inconveniently" got a ticket for going 100 in a Prius.. You can't MAKE this stuff up..

Maybe he was going downhill. Or the Prius kicked in from the gas tank. I don't know about 100 mph, but I'm sure a Prius is very capable of going well over the speed limit. Besides, he got arrested for more than a speeding ticket. Let's see, he was drunk, had possession of marijuana, vicadin, and like 2 or 3 other medicines that were not prescription. How do explain that?

It can go 100 MPH. Young Gore has many, many problems and it will take 50 years to get him straightened out.

Is he the son whom was backed over by a vehicle in the Stadium parking lot in Maryland years ago?
The Stadium has since been demolished, although he could be Gore's son whom did get head=injured from this.

I am sure its a vast right wing conspiracy, someone dressed up as Al's wayward kid and souped up a prius and framed the poor kid! haha, Al drove his poor wife to drugs and alcohol is it any wonder he drove his kid to the same? Al draws pressure which is why he was a C minus student at Harvard, then flunked out of law school and then failed Divinity School all these must be part of the vast rightwing conspiracy!???

I know a prius will in fact go a hundred. 105 in fact, but they are very dangerous... at least the 2001 model can.
