When buy things from the supermarket, do you take what ever is at the front or on top, or do u think all the good one is hidden at the bottom or at the back of the shelves?

I never take the first milk carton, but go back one or to to get the colder ones...other than that i don't pay much attention.

I think that the people stocking the groceries aren't necessarily brainy or dedicated and that they stick things wherever it's convenient. Sometimes the expiration dates on the shelves are in no particular pattern, so I try to find whatever has the longest shelf life.

I look at the dates and usually take from the back of the
shelves...

I always take the items from the back especially things like deodrant (coz you know ppl have tried them and feel ripped off if u take the one at the front)!!
And the milk/yougurt...the fresher ones are always at the back ;)

not just at the supermarket..but even if I have to buy makeup or something...I always take the third or fourth one....
i always think the first one has been damaged with all the times it fell on the floor...lol

I try to look at expiration dates if the item has one. If not, I take what is on top. This all depends on if I'm in a hurry or not! :)

I often check for the use by date because they are very tricky especially with the vegetables & packet food

As long as the package is solid , it's generally get's used up quick in this house anyway.

Fearther back means colder, thaws out slower, fresher, less tampered with.
