Terrorist attacks worldwide have increased every year since 2002. They've skyrocketed since 2004, which marked the single largest increase in terrorist activity ever recorded since the CIA started keeping records dating back to 1968.

Sounds like he made it worse to me. To be fair, a large number of those increased terrorist attacks are happening in Iraq.

Hmmm, without a shadow of a doubt, it is worse...much worse. The attitude that things are better because there have been no attacks since 9/11 is incredibly naive. It is thanks to our intelligence services that further attacks have been thwarted. Just because terrorism is not currently taking place on US soil, does not mean Bush has done a good job. I think that attacks on British soil and terrorist attacks that take place on a daily basis in Iraq are clear evidence that we are all more vulnerable than before. Why don't you ask the troops how safe they feel now? That should provide you with the answer.

GW has made the terror threat to the US much much worse. Bush has become the poster child for terrorists recruitment efforts world wide. His unprovoked attack of the sovereign nation of Iraq, his aggressive nation building policies have gone far to further disgrace and undermine whatever credibility the US had throughout the world.

Worse. Ever since he invaded Iraq so many ordinary Muslims have taken up arms and have established goals in their mind to destroy America and kill Americans.

Secondly, Saddam Hussein was an ally on the war on terror. He wanted 100% of the power in Iraq and he saw terrorists as a threat to his sole influence. While he was in power, Osama bin Laden or any other terrorist would not have even dreamed of entering Iraq or else Saddam would have had them killed in a second. Ever since Bush invaded Iraq, it has become a safe haven and breeding ground for terrorists. Anyone can go to Iraq to join terrorist groups if they want.

Thirdly, the one good thing that Bush did do was overthrow the Taliban and invaded Afghanistan which WAS a safe haven for terrorists. Unfortunately, he even screwed that up. Because now since he focused so much into Iraq, the Taliban are reforming in Afghanistan, thanks to Bush.

Fourth, we have allied ourselves with President Musharaff of Pakistan. I don't think many Americans know that he is a DICTATOR. Musharaff overthrew the Pakistani government and now Pakistan is a military government. The fact that we allied ourselves with him is not as bad as the fact that Bush refused to go into a region in northwestern Pakistan which is a safe haven for the Taliban and al-Qaeda and where Osama bin Laden probably is. That area of Pakistan is not even controlled fully by Musharaff but is controlled by radical Islamists.

So yes, by ignoring the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 and who are capable of attacking us again and by invading a country that was not friendly to terrorists, and also by drawing so much hatred against America because of a completely unnecessary war, Bush has made terrorist much, much worse. And it is not a question of if, but it is a question of when we will see another catastrophic attack.

He has made it better for the terrorists because now in order to get new recruits they just mention "Bush" and everyone wants to join up.

Only the terrorists can decide to attack or not.
The more they get beaten on the less time they have to plan anything.
Get them running and keep them running, find their leaders and kill them.
Give them time to regroup and they'll drop a few more buildings.
