Bill Clintons perjury was of a personal nature. Although a bad example for today's youth it has no bearing on his performance as president. Scooter Libby was involved in an underhanded ploy by the government to silence and discredit a critic of the administration, her husband. When caught he tried to cover his tracks and lied about his actions to a grand jury. What's even worse is that he was likely instructed by the administration to take this action, and then after a jury of his peers found him guilty and sentenced him, the same people waived his jail term and may at a later date remove all penalty whatsoever. This is a worrying miscarriage of justice. I don't care if the president of the United states is getting blown by albino midgets on new years eve, but I don't like to see government officials using underhanded tactics to silence the opposition and when caught to cover their tracks.

Scooter's perjury involved matters of national security.
Bill's perjury was about shady land deals and an adulterous sexual liaison between two consenting adults.
Understand that the Clinton impeachment proceedings was nothing more than a distraction because America's ruling class had nothing else to hang its hat on then.
Today, the Libby proceedings weren't necessary because the ruling class is effectively distracting all of us with an unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable and immoral 'war'. -TKO- 07/05/07
