yes but the 13.3 widescreen is great for watching movies, it has just as much real estate as a 4:3 15' screen.

A MacBook could now not be a well proposal for gaming, due to the fact that it handiest has incorporated snap shots (now not so much well) while the MacBook Pro has an specific snap shots card. Besides gaming (and might be video modifying), the opposite belongings you acknowledged might traditionally be first-rate on a MacBook until the monitor dimension relatively stricken you that so much. Basically, a MacBook Pro will deliver you a reasonable bit extra vigour total, now not only a greater monitor. For me, I'd say it is valued at it, however I generally tend to do quite heavier stuff on my Mac.

Hi. I would recommend getting the 15" screen. The 13" is very short and slim lined, so it's hard to see. I had a Titanium PowerBook with the 15" and loved it but I bought a 12" iBook and can't say I don't miss the big Screen. I would say buy a refurbished Pro or a late model, but the MacBook is too small and I feel the Pro is worth it. When you got to sell it, you'll get more money back on it. Good luck on your choice.

check the dpi, the higher the better.

You could always connect to an external monitor if you need the extra size and your at home/office, otherwise, use your nogin and make the choice based on how much you value you screen size and wallet!
