Why you don't call them and ask them?
I have done that before. Just call and say something like - Hi, my name is John Smith, I interviewed with your company a few weeks ago. I am just wondering if the position has been filled yet.
This usually opens things up. If they already picked someone else, they will say that the position has been filled. If not, they will say that they are still in the process of deciding or something like that. If they are still deciding, maybe you could ask when you could expect a call to let you know one way or the other whether or not they were interested in you for the position.
Good luck! I hope you get it if that is the job you really want.

definitely, purely considering you agreed to a heritage examine does no longer recommend you bought the job. The HR assertion meant which you're a value candidate, and she or he/he had to understand your intentions b4 they took the subsequent step. I recommend you call or e mail a a shop on with up letter, enable them to understand you're nonetheless exciting bearing directly to the placement. The postpone must be the perspective of examining each and every of the applicants to confirm which they sense are a reliable greater healthful. So, they are able to categorise which of them merits the subsequent interview.

If it's been three weeks and you haven't heard anything, you probably didn't get the job. However, to put your mind at ease, give them a call and just tell them that you were there roughly three weeks ago for an interview and wondered if they have filled the position, yet.

If it has been three weeks I would say that the company has decided to go a different direction or hired someone else. I would send a polite letter stating that you appreciated all there time and thoughful questions. Then follow up with a telephone call.

I would suggest calling the business and politely inquiring as to the status of your application. So long as you aren't pushy and don't keep bugging them, they will be happy to tell you. Plus, if the position has been filled then you will know for sure.

If they told you what the job was, how to do it, and how much you were getting paid, you had the job. But that was three weeks ago. You got fired by now.
