I think I can manage the first verse of the Star Spangled Banner - and at least one, possibly two verses of God Save The Queen.

This was all I was taught throughout my life.
O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

I only know the first verse of advance australia fair. To be honest with you I didnt even know there were more until just a few years ago... and im nearly 30.

Sadly australia doesnt teach much in the way of australian history at school. Their are elective australian history classes but not manditory.... odd hey? we have to learn how the egyptians came to be but not how we came to be... apart from convicts from england
