My dad explained it very well to me when I was a youngster. He said "There are two sets of laws in this country.........there are laws for the people who have money and influence, and then there are laws for the poor people."
It took me some time to understand what he was saying, but he was right.

The more money you have and spend (on your attorney) the less time you'll spend in jail. And if you have loads of cash, you can get away with murder!
