Is that image really several hundred years old and what about those other engravings discovered by Alien Astronaut theorists. Were any of those things radio Carbon dated for some hopes of authenticity ? I was just thinking that writers of these kinds of books could just make their own "false ancient artworks & artifacts " This is more of an Archaelogy question. So if you know something more write it.

There's just something strange about the fact that the pyramids-zyguarts in ?Babylon are the same as the ones in Central America. Both Mayan and Babylonian calendars have 365 days.

I have seen the picture of the Mayan guy that you refer to. It is really just a picture of a preist lying down in a Mayan celebration with various artifacts around him. It might look something like a spaceship to us but if you study Mayan culture you will recognize all of the artifacts in that picture. He is NOT in a spaceship.
Most drawings are subject to interpretation. Our cultural bias makes us see things that the artist did not intend. These are not photos, so we must try to understand the images in terms of the artist's culture.

though I have never seen the original, I do belive it is an authentic relic. I have a really detailed article on the Mayan calender, complete with detailed photos depicting the supposed meanings of all the glyphs contained on it. It seems authentic. I think these peoples were aware of things we really dont know much about these days. Who's to say, really. You either belive in extra terrestrials, or you dont, I guess. A mound In Ireland, at Tara, has many astrological devices built into it also. such as a hole where the sun shines perfectly through it on a certain day, also. These ancient people knew a lot about this stuff, it seems.

I think alot of that stuff is open to interpretation. I would love it if we found out that civilaztion were visited by space people. But prolly not true. It's just the way we seen those pictures in our world in our context. There no way of know what the artist was trying to convey. There one where the figure has a circle around his head, and we think "space helmet" well what if it's supposed to be the sun behind him or the moon. Or maybe the artist just circled the head.

maybe in the the future we invent a time machine go back to that time period to learn and then we leave then the Mayans document this visit. so by rational thought this time period in which we live now has already happened.
