as an individual i think he is overrated. he is a good QB but not the very first draft pick good. but he is talented QB and he is going to have a decent season, but as for the team...they will struggle cause the teams chemistry is so negative right now. i say 2 to 3 years down the road, the raiders could raise again and be a threat in that very difficult division...

Jamarcus "ryan leaf" Russell is waaayyy overrated. He had a good end to his last season at LSU, and a great game against the Irish. But, did nobody notice the recievers he was throwing to? The guy has an awsome arm and all but, if my sister had those guys to throw to, she'd get a couple of TD's.

As far as numbers is concered, he's one of my favorite prospects. A 6'6 250 pound monster with "the strongest arm at any level of football". Too bad he's on one of the worst teams in football. He still has a chance to do good. He's good friends with the whole Manning family. Im sure he's getting all the advice he can. So I think he'll do good 2 or 3 years down the road, when he gets some better players around him.

Hard to throw from a well. His line is terrible and his team is just as bad. The other thing is it is hard to throw when you're having to pass to catch up.

The Raiders are a long way from being a good team.

I don't know the Raiders new coach, but unless they shore up The offensive line he will get clobbered, like Walters and Rogers etc... Hopefully they won't hang him out there. If thyey do he will have a short career.

He has to be an improvement for the Raiders. There's only one way to go and that's up. If he can't get any protection he'll do about the same as their past few quarterbacks.

Not well at all because Oakland sucks. I just hope he doesn't get mauled in his first year. He would have a better chance fighting dogs at Vick's house than being thrown to the dogs with Oakland.

Major bust and his contract could destroy the Raiders salary cap for years to come.
