The National Museum of the United States Air is a great place to visit in Dayton, north of Cincinnati ...even if you think you are not that interested in planes. There are hundreds of planes from very old to very new stealth bombers....and it's free...you can spend all day there and it's open 362 days of the year.

For Cincinnati
Check out this site - it has information on all of the attractions in the area.

My favorite things to do with visitors...in no particular order
1 Downtown. Go to the top of the Carew Tower downtown. Great views of the tri-state area. Also, while there check out the Hilton Hotel if you are into art deco and their buffet is good too. The (small private collection of art) Taft Museum is worth a visit - only takes about 90minutes. Fountain square is a construction site right now ..not very pretty but at least the fountain is back
2. Union Terminal Museum Center - is a great building which you can take a behind the scenes tour for free (at the week-ends) or go to one of the three museums History of Cincinnati, Natural History or Children's and also the Imax theater is there.
3 The Zoo and Botanical gardens - great if you like animals. Allow about 4 hours.
4. Go over the river to Newport on the Levee. Newport is a great area to hang out, eat and drink, catch a movie. The Aquarium is my favorite place - great shark viewing.
5. Eden Park where you will find the Art Museum and Krohn Conservatory (tropical plants) both of which have free entry.
6. Spring Grove Cemetary and Arboretum. Seriously - great place to walk, interesting history and self guided tours, lots of different plants, trees and birds.
7. Waterparks - The Beach, Coney Island (great place for younger children) , Paramount Kings Island (great roller coasters) also now has a water park as well.
Here is the link for things to do in N. Kentucky.

If you have kids I would recommend the following:
1. Cincinnati Museum Center. Especially the Children's Museum:
http://www.cincymuseum.org/
2. Kings Island: One of the best amusement parks around something for kids of all ages. The Beast at about 30 years old is still the best wooden roller coaster ever made.

3. The most famous "site" in the city if Fountain Square in downtown.
4. Cincinnati Reds game - The Reds are struggling but Great American is still a great place to see a game. [you can pick up good tickets on-line - eBay - for less than face value]
5. Northern Kentucky - most of the River type entertainment(Restaurants, etc.) are on that side of the river.
6. Sawyer Point Park. Nice park down by the river on the Cincy side. Great view Kentucky. Sometimes there are festivals going on there depending on when you are coming. Biggest one is Labor Day Weekend.

Well here's some things you can do-
1.Newport on the Levy: There's some things you can do down there. You can also go down there to the Newport Aquarium. This is all right across the river. Take I-71 and exit right across the bridge at that small ramp.
2.Cincinnati museum Center: They have quite the amazing museum. They also have Omnimax Theatre there. Their new Omnimax film is on the Swiss Alps, seems interesting.
3.Go up to Dayton (about 1 hr. away) and see the National Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum.
4.Cincinnati Zoo: Go there and see one of the best zoo's in the country. It has alot to see.
5.Kings Island: Located in the Deerfield Township area, near Mason, it is one of the most fun things to do here in Cincinnati. Go there and ride some amazing rides.
6.Coney Island: Go there and swim your åss off! HUGE sunlight pool! Its like what...at least 1/4 of a mile long, and about half that as wide. You'd have to go there to see it.
Anything else? It all depends on what you like to do, add some stuff to details and I will give you some more stuff.
Enjoy your visit to one of the most historical cities in the state of Ohio. HAVE FUN!

Cincinnati has a lot of things to do. Be sure to visit the Cincinnati Zoo it is one of the best in the Country. We are also home to the amusement park, Kings Island. We have the worlds largest outdoor pool, at Coney Island, Coney is a nice place to visit in the evening as they have a few rides for kids and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Northern Kentucky has a wonderful Aquirium you may want to visit, and no matter what be sure to taste our famous Cincinnati Chilli :)
Enjoy your visit in our fair City!
