looking at entering a local karaoke contest (country bar). what are some good song choices in general for a female (that aren't too over-done by EVERYONE else on the planet singing them! lol!) ???? thanks for the help!

These songs come to mind and they're a bit older than current songs so not too many people will be competing with each other to sing them.The tricky thing will be if the bar has the music and lyrics for these songs (assuming you will be reading the lyrics off a screen). Good luck.

These are my favorites: You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man - Loretta Lynn, Harper Valley P.T.A. - Jeanie C. Riley, & Fancy - Reba McEntire. Those are just fun cool songs with a bit of attitude. It depends on your voice and what songs your good at...I guess go for something that is well known but not brand new (or they'll be overdone)
