Well, to begin with, wouldn't relationships be boring if we weren't? If men and women weren't at least a little mysterious--i.e. not quite predictable or just what we expected--it would take alot of the joy out of pursuing and discovering one another. It's precisely because a woman isn't a man that he finds her mysterious. Remember Henry Higgins? Whether our interest in the opposite sex is romantically or platonically motivated, the "otherness" of the other is just familiar enough to attract but not alien enough to repel us. I'm mysterious because I'm an unknown on a very basic level, at the same time being comfortably familiar. Notwithstanding the obvious, we're terribly similar to men, but in some indefinable, just-out-of-reach way we're simply NOT men...irresistable, ain't it? Vive la difference!

Everyone is different regardless of the chromosome we have. In western society women are typically socialized to act differently then men, and this is perhaps the part you find mysterious. Perhaps you should educate YOURSELF and then the mystery will be revealed.

Not all girls are mysterious, they only appear that way if you are afraid of them or something lol get to know them

Men have to have a natural excuse to everything. they have to think and ponder on everything in their lives. This is why all the great philosophers were guys. Girls, on the other hand, are just plain crazy, and dont care about the world around them... thats why so many liberals are girls. =) guys are confounded by this sensless perception they have, making them seem so mysterious.

well. before i ask this, might i ask why guys are so confusing??
well, anyways, girls are mysterious because guys expect them to act a certain way (obedient/ sweet/ girly/ etc) and when they don't, guys get confused because they are different than they expected. and also, sometimes a girl tests how much you really love her by playing hard to get. and don't tell me guys don't do this too. :]
don't worry, just be a gentleman around girls and they'll love you. that's all it takes to get into our hearts.

Because you are a male and never the twain shall meet mentally or emotionally. You understand females about as well as females understand males. Age does not not correct this dilemma, it merely gives one the ability to agree to disagree or not care at all.

Don't waste your time. Anyone who will play games with your head is someone to that I suggest you keep considerable distance from.
There are enough open and honest people around so that no one has to spend time with people who screw with your mind.
