The way I look at it is, if their life is so boring they need to talk about mine then I feel sorry for them!
At least I have a life, and no lies they can tell will hurt me because a lie can't be proven.
Someone tried that and I just told the only person that I care about that it was happening in case it got back to him so if they carried it further he would see it coming and be able to deal with it.
Otherwise I did nothing! People that do things like that arn't worth the effort of reacting. If they get no reaction they usually get bored and stop!

Yeah a few times. What I get heaps of is people talking while looking at me, making it so obvious that they're talking about me. But, I don't mind too much. As said on Gossip Girl, you're nobody until you're talked about.

Yes. My cousin in fact was on the bus when my boyfriend was and she was telling everyone else that she heard I was pregnant and then another girl started saying it too. I didn't say anything to them because my boyfriend handeled it right then. But I was very angry because the other girl was going through the same situation and I knew about it but didn't say a word to anyone else about it unlike she did.

Yes, and they regreted having lied about me for a very long time. My reputation exponentially overtook the lies and made the liars feel like they were accusing an armless man of murder.

Like when you walk into a room and all goes quite?!
One time 2 fools thought I was asleep, and I got to hear what they really thought of me and some other friends. I did not confront them, but we 'lost contact' afterwards,
B!TCHES!

Yes, its happened to me and I just took my mothers advice and left it alone.
Moms quote, Don't let it bother you if someone is talking about you, just walk up to them and politely say, "As long as you are talking about me, you are leaving someone else alone, my good deed for the day is done"

ohhhhh yes I did, and when she was finished I walked over to the table she was sitting at with her friends and introduced myself. (she knew who I was, but never seen what I looked like) I informed her of what she was saying was a lie and I had proof with me. I loved it, her face turned every color of the rainbow..

yeah people have done that before. it was at work. it was between a couple of people who had no life. it didn't bother me any as the way i see it is that if people talk about you then they obviously think that you are more important than they are or they would talk about themselves. good luck.
