well i don't like typing but for you i will explain...... first you want to get rubber gloves on because if you tuch the keyboard with static u can destroy the keyboard.....then unplug the keyboard from everything.... next take a non magentic screw drive to the back and undo it VERRY carefully... then what u want to do is take a can of air usually u can get them for like 14$ spray the inside.... then take a baby wipe....yes it does matter..... and gently wipe the back... then put it all back together again.

Spary a little cleaning spary and wipe it with a towel. DONT use water because water messes up the key board if it gets in between the letters so be careful because a keyboard is sensitive.

Can you get a butter knife (or thin flathead screwdriver) and gently lift up on it? Most keys will pop right out for cleaning. Then, clean the area with alcohol, gently. Pop the bar back in the space. I do this.

Pop the key off the board and clean it thoroughly. Make sure to dry the board and the key completely before you try using it again.

See if the spacebar will flip up or back towards you like the keys. Clean it. If you are banging on the spacebar it may just need replaced. My hubby plays games and bangs on the keyboard, he's had quite a few.
