The morning after pill should not be used as a form of birth control. Use a condom to prevent STD's, cause you don't know where your bf has been, and get on the pill.. that was you wont get pregnant..

Oh and yes you are to young.. please wait, trust me it all gets complicated from then on. Keep your childhood as long as possible

I was 14 when i started, your not too young if your ready! Use condoms, see how you go. You only need the morning after pill if you think your actually pregnant, like if the condom splits or you didn't use any protection. They say it's bad for your health to take the morning after pill too many times, like any more than there times. I used to get my morning after pill from the chemist for free, but they sometimes wanted a doctors note, I never went to see my own doctor, I went to a young persons sexual health clinic and they got me an appointment the same day with a different surgery than my own.
You may want to try other contraceptives like the pill, you can use a condom as well for safety. you get this from your doctor, you may have to try a few before you find the right one for you as they can have slight side effects like dissyness or cramps. But sometimes they cure cramps too. I never got on with the pill so I now have a coil that has to be changed every 5 years. I think there is two types, I use the one that makes your periods lighter, mine are go light i hardly notice them and I don't get any pains either!

Hope you find this information useful.

If you're in the UK, ring NHS direct for a list of which chemists dispense the morning after pill free of charge. They will also tell you where your nearest family planning clinic is for free condoms or to be put on the proper pill. The number is 0845 4647. Please dont use the morning after pill as a way every month. It should only ever be used in an emergency, no more than once a month, and can really mess up your periods, trust me! I'm not saying that to lecture I promise.

The morning after pill is not a premeditated form of contraception, but an emergency contraceptive. It is not as reliable as standard oral contraception, and it is not designed to be used as such. All chemists sell 'Levonelle Once', however, firstly it is £25 a pill, and secondly pharmacists have an obligation to establish that you are over the age of 16, before selling it!

If you are about to have sex anyway, and you boyfriend is not much older than you, most GPs would be sympathetic and supply you with a suitable prescription. No moralising, just a reminder that your boyfriend technically commits a criminal offence if he has sex with you. If he happens to be over 18 years it is generally considered a jail-able offence.

I see from one of your previous questions that your boyfriend 'doesn't remember saturday night' and you were unsure what to say to him. So, you can't speak to your boyfriend, yet you're ready for sex? No, I don't think so. You're a child. And if you were ready to have sex, you would be aware of your options regarding the morning after pill and so on, as you would have done your own research into the matter instead of asking strangers here.

dont use the morning after pill as contraception, go and see your gp and get them to put you on the pill instead and that will protect you from pregnancy along with a condom. the morning after pill is used only if you didnt use contraception, to prevent pregnancy.

ok you ARE too young to be having sex...and the reason people are saying that is because it's true. but regardless of that, you can't get the morning after pill without a prescription until you're 18. and even if you can get someone to buy it for u it's $45 each time. it's wayyyyy cheaper to get on birth control. you can probably get BC for free at planned parenthood or another healthy clinic. if you're so grown up and ready to have sex than take responsibility and go to a gyno and get on BC

The morning after pill is for when the condom breaks (for emergency contraceptive) buy condoms for the sex act itself.
If you don;t know about the morning after pill then you shouldn't be having sex.

You should be thinking about prevention and not about plans to rid your body of something that may have alreadyy happened. Use condoms, especially to prtect each other from STD's and seek advice from your GP about contraception. I'm sure your boyfriend will feel the same and may wait until your covered before being intimate
