The ones that slowly take you up and drop you. More anticipation time. You have more time to think about how far off the ground you are.
And yes, I've been on both...for the first one, after it shoots you up into the air, you're already feeling the rush and have no time to adjust. It's not scary anymore. For the second one, you've got time to say your prayers and then when it gets to the top, sometimes there's a pause, so you're not ready when you drop.

i've only been on power tower at cedar point so i can only say generally, drop you down is scarier but shoot you up is an unique feeling

B, but i suggest going to cedar point and riding the power tower, (its 210 feet in the air) super scary. i rode it last night at 10:00. like yeah...freaked me out.
