Being an actor requires alot of training for some.
There are always classes in large cities.
Stick with drama classes in schoole.
Get involved with you local comunity theatre company.
This is not the case for all actors. Tom Cruse had no experience at all.
When looking for an agent remember there is a fee of no more then $50 to join. They might try to make you pay for headshots. Don't. Have a photographer that you know take them for you.
To find an agent you can check the internet of course or look on the A.C.T.R.A. websight. That is a union for actors.
Your agent will hook you up with auditions. But if you plan on being an independent actor (no agent) you will need to find them through an organization like Theatre Ontario. E-mail them and ask about your area. They also offer acting classes and are well respected world wide.
