I HATE hip hop and rap UNLESS it is Will Smith. I like him.
You don't HAVE to like a kind of MUSIC just because it's not politically correct NOT to...that's absurd!

What the HELL are you getting at here???? I don't like Hip Hop but it has nothing to do with being prejudice, I just don't enjoy that type of music. It's no different than not liking to eat spinach... Some people like to eat it, But I don't. That doesn't mean I'm going to try and ban all from eating spinach. This question really looks like you are digging to prove a point. You're point is ignorant and makes no sense. I'm sure there are types of music you don't like, does that mean you are prejudice against that race?

No. It's possible to separate hip-hop from the artists. Not liking hip-hop is no different from not liking country or not liking pop. If not liking hip-hop means prejudice against the hip-hop artist, then not liking country, to you, must mean prejudice against country artists or southerners. Besides, the KKK KILLED blacks. Hitler KILLED the Jews. You don't KILL hip-hop artists by disliking their music.

Prejudice isn't almost the same as being racist--it IS being racist toward someone who isn't a different race. How you go from disliking Hip Hop to the Holocaust shows what little you know of it.

If you don't like Hip Hop, it's just your musical preference. It does not make you prejudice or racist. I don't like country music but that does not mean I am prejudiced or racist. It's just my musical taste. If someone does not like Hip Hop because the artists are mostly black, then yes that is prejudiced and racist.

I am not prejudice of the musicians, i just don't care for the music at all . I don't like the way they sing it, the lyrics and how they dress and portray themselves and their lifestyle.
I don't know why they are known as 'artists' though .
I just don't care for that type of culture is all...not being a hater just telling it like it is. I doubt if they watch Country Music videos and that doesn't make them a hater automatically. To each their own .

"Prejudice" is not the same thing as "racism".
Prejudice means either having an opinion formed beforehand or having preferences for one thing over another.
Racism is an irrational hatred of a group based on their skin color or national origin.

If you don't like CLASSICAL MUSIC, does that mean you are PREJUDICED against Classical Music ARTISTS!!
Or, does it mean you prefer other types of music and Classical just isn't your interest.
